Dr Mary Harrison trained at St Thomas’ Hospital and joined the Frome Medical Practice in 1975. At the time, there were eight male partners and she became the first woman partner.
Dr Bob Griffiths started work at the new Frome Health Centre in 1971 when it was a unique facility in Somerset and worked there until his retirement.
